Life long learning.

As former professors and as life-long learners, we see seek to encourage curiosity, exploration, and a passion for pursuing one’s interests. While we are here to facilitate the college admissions process, our ultimate goal is to encourage a student’s thirst for knowledge.

Through reading, reflection, discussion, and writing we help students identify potential paths forward academically and personally, building skills required for college and beyond.

Because we work so closely with students, we are only able to work with 12 children per academic year.

It has been our experience preparing for, applying to, and successfully getting students admitted to institutions of their choice is a task that requires the shared and dedicated commitment of everyone - parents, students, and us; we all hold joint responsibility. That is why we place a premium on earnest, authentic, and ethical work.

The relationship we build with you as parents and students is the foundation of our practice. Deep trust and honest communication, respect for one anther’s roles and time, listening and engaging in a genuine way with one another, will not only lead to a successful experience, but also help to pave the way for a meaningful educational and professional life down the road.

  • Wellbeing

We approach working with students holistically. That means while we do focus on their intellectual growth, we also place a premium on their mental and emotional well being as well. College admissions can be an anxiety-producing experience and we want to make sure that this is a well-balanced process.

  • Relationships

For us, our relationship with you is key. Since strong relationships are based on trust and honesty, we approach our work with candor. We expect open and regular communication so that even when the process might be challenging, we can work through it together.

  • Authenticity

Much of the reading, writing, and discussions we do with students centers on finding out what makes them tick. We want to discover your unique voice, interests, talents, and help you bring that out to the best of your ability.

  • Process

Everything we do is a process first and foremost! Getting to know each other, creating new habits like time management and reading, as well as writing. We teach you how to do these things that are necessary in life in a way that will serve you in college and beyond.
